Trail Thoughts and Musings
Continuing the ascent, the trail soon passes out of the redwood forest and into the drier chaparral plant community. This community is dominated by oak trees and smaller brush plants. Soon the junction with the Valley View spur trail will be reached. This 0.3 of a mile spur trail will end with excellent views of the valley below.
