Fog Drifts up Varian Peak
Trail Thoughts and Musings
The trail must now work itself around Varian Peak. This was named for the noted physicist, Russell Varian who was instrumental in establishing this area as a State Park. It is on this peak that Goat rock can be found. Fog, which can be found throughout the year, can be seen here drifting up from the Pacific ocean.
