The park service has built this sturdy deck to provide a better vantage point for viewing Castle Rock Falls. Here Kings Creek leaps off a 50 foot vertical sandstone slab and then cascades down to the San Lorenzo River. It is only in winter that the falls become impressive, but the view to the ocean is always breathtaking.
