After following the tortuous route from Highway 9 to the entrance station, the road drops down to the lake and a surprisingly spacious parking lot. It is located next to the lake and the boat rental area is close at hand. Before starting on the hike, it is worthwhile to walk to the lake's edge and enjoy its beauty.
