This picturesque pond lies on the private land holdings of the Jikoji Zen Buddhist Retreat. As such, the trails that lead around it are marked as private property and should be respected as such. The trail does pass by this gentle and serene body of water and allows the hikers to pause and imbue themselves with the tranquillity that can be drawn from these peaceful waters.
