Trail Thoughts and Musings

As the trail heads up towards Borel Hill it travels through grass covered terrain. Most of the year the vegetation is brown and dormant, but in spring it comes alive with color. A great sea of green grass spreads over the hills which is punctuated with dashes of red, gold, yellow, and purple. Here along side the trail is a swatch of yellow wildflowers intermixed with golden California poppies
