After taking the time to enjoy the vistas atop Borel Hill, it is time to continue the trek. Return down the trail and backtrack about 100 feet to where a trail splits off to the left of the main trail. Take this trail as shown here and soon you will see the path to the Ancient Oaks off to the left. During the spring a profusion of golden California poppies will welcome you to this enchanting walk.
