The Start of Flume Trail

Having reached the trail post, you make a sharp right turn onto to Flume Trail. If you continue straight on Jones Trail, you would soon reach the trail junction that leads to the top of St. Joseph's Hill. This provides one of the best vantage points in the South Bay to view both the Santa Cruz mountains and the Santa Clara valley. For this hike, however, you will take Flume Trail back to Novitiate park.
