Clearing and Meadow

Trail Thoughts and Musings

All too soon, the trees begin to thin and a clearing can be seen at end of the trail. This sun kissed spot of grass marks the end of the Summit Meadows trail. Once the meadow is reached, the fence separating the park land from a small pullout on Highway 9 can be seen. A trail can be seen to the right. It passes some private homes and then heads back south. I have followed it for about a mile without seeing any clear destination.
