Cascades on the Marble Fork

Trail Thoughts and Musings

The Marble Fork of the Kaweah has its own way of traversing the massive granite upthrust that the trail has just surmounted. It rushes down the sheets of granite forming this majestic cascade. If the water is not too high you should take some time to explore the shoreline by these cataracts, but always exercise caution when doing so. Drowning is the most common cause of death in Sequoia National Park.
