Fire Road Back to Black Oak Group Area
Trail Thoughts and Musings
Crossing over the final Swanson creek bridge, the trail splits, with one leg following the creek and the other going up to the fire road return. In order to see Black Rock falls take the trail up to the fire road. A small spur trail on the other side of the fire road bridge leads to the falls. If you are tired, you can take this road back to the group area, but be sure to see Upper falls and Basin falls before turning back. This hike will continue on to Contour trail.
