Crossing the bridge you will find the unexpected luxury of rest rooms and even an emergency telephone. The trail continues on following along side the river. It is a particularly scenic stretch of the Merced as it rushes down from the mountains along a bed filled with massive boulders. The interplay of water makes for a mesmerizing vision.
