Opal Creek

Trail Thoughts and Musings

Opal Creek is one of the major tributaries in the Waddell Creek watershed. The cloudy opalescence of the water that gives it its name, is caused by suspended minerals and plant material. This viewpoint reminds one of a French impressionist painting with the music of Debussy playing in the background.
