Trail Thoughts and Musings

The trail continues its climb as it meanders along side the differing forest vegetation. While the redwood trees are the most prominent citizens of this forest community, many other plants can be found. Madrone trees are prevalent and wild oak trees are common. Various shrubs fill the understory, while redwood sorrel and the ubiquitous fern provide ground cover.
