Looking Across Waddell Creek Canyon

Trail Thoughts and Musings

The redwood micro-environment has now been left behind. This ecological zone consists primarily of Knobcone pine and chaparral plants such as manzanita. The low growing vegetation, combined with steep slopes provides an escalating series of vistas, each grander then before. Looking down from here glimpses can be had of the canyon carved by Waddell Creek.
