The canyon narrows as you continue to hike up the trail and the creek now becomes your constant companion. It is not long before it is time to make the first creek crossing. The bridges are no longer formal structures, but instead consist of logs that are wired in place. Do not be overly concerned, because the top part of the logs have been leveled, and the footing should be secure enough for most hikers.
