Junction with MacLaren Trail

Having explored the lake shore it is time to once again cross a ridge and drop down to follow the edge of Fir Cove. At the end of the cove a trail junction will be reached. For the more ambitious hikers, a longer trip can be made by continuing on Loch Trail and completing a loop via Highland Service Road. Our hike however, will take a right turn and use the MacLaren Trail to complete the loop.
